The Experience

Discover the satisfaction of creating your very own set of custom Japanese chopsticks from start to finish. Guided by the principles of fine craftsmanship, you’ll begin by selecting your preferred type of wood, choosing from a variety of natural grains, rich colors, and unique characters that match your personal aesthetic.

Using specialized traditional woodworking tools, place your wooden blanks onto a crafting stand and use a hand plane to meticulously carve them into their finished form. Once shaped, smooth and refine the surface using fine sandpaper to reveal the wood's natural grain and ensure a comfortable grip. To seal and protect your work, apply a coat of natural oil, giving your chopsticks a soft, polished, and durable finish. For the ultimate personalized touch, have your name beautifully engraved in Japanese, creating an authentic, one-of-a-kind keepsake from your time in Japan.
